Tongue On the Post | January 25-30

On January 30, Alberta’s first winter folk music festival makes its annual return—we’re talking of course, about Tongue on the Post! This year, the festival is set to include a handful of big-name performers, with headliners to be announced in the coming weeks. Theory of a Deadman: Unplugged- January 26

On January 26, modern rock mainstays Theory of a Deadman will touch down in Medicine Hat for an unplugged concert presented by Rock 105.3. The show is part of a larger tour celebrating the band’s 15-year anniversary, and as such, fans in attendance can expect to hear songs old and new, from Since You’ve Been Gone to Savages. It all goes down at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre, just a short drive from our hotel, for tickets that cost $42.50.
 

Corb Lund | February 7

One week into February, Alberta’s own Corb Lund is scheduled to take the stage at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre for an unforgettable night of live music. The musician behind tunes like Bible on the Dash and Dig Gravedigger Dig, he’ll be taking the stage for tickets that cost just $46. Don’t miss it!
