Help remove litter and debris from designated areas across Medicine Hat.

It’s a chance to directly contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment.

Contest: The City of Medicine Hat is offering prizes to participants who document their cleanup efforts! This is not only to encourage as many people as possible to participate, but is also a way to create community spirit and encourage friendly competition.

How to Participate:

Earth Day Bash: Police Point Park on April 26 from 11am to 4 p.m. for FAMILY-FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES and to pick up your Litter Blitz supplies.

Litter Blitz: Help clean up litter around the city from April 26 to May 3 at your own pace.

Thank-You BBQ: Celebrate your hard work with a BBQ in Police Point Park on May 3 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Supplies: Need supplies? Pick up garbage bags and gloves starting April 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parks Office, 88 Kipling Street. Supplies will also be available at POLICE POINT PARK INTERPRETIVE CENTRE and BIG MARBLE GO CENTRE during Litter Blitz week.

Share your cleanup photos on social media, tag the City of Medicine Hat, and you could win great prizes like a night at a comfort cabin or a one-day campsite stay at Gas City Campground.
